The Situation

Kincumber Dental Care is a Dental Practice based in Kincumber on the NSW Central Coast and has been providing high-quality dental care since 1981.

Our training and ongoing commitment to continuing education mean we can offer a full range of treatment options to optimise your care. This includes utilisation of the latest techniques and modern equipment including low dose digital x-rays, intra-oral cameras and WAND injection system. We focus on teaching patients and helping them to achieve optimum dental health and wellbeing.

Telephone bookings are the mainstay of their business. No phone calls mean no business… Realising it was time to upgrade their current Phone System, Kincumber Dental Care contacted SystemsUP Group for a free audit to find the right solution to suit their needs.

The Challenge

An ongoing issue for Kincumber Dental Care was that when their Internet connection dropped out, so did their phone lines.  Also frustrating, was being unable to ` Click to Dial ’ from their Practice Management database, or from their current antiquated Phone System.

The Solution

Understanding their current Phone System was now inadequate for their needs, Kincumber Dental Care engaged SystemsUP Group to find a new solution that would upgrade both their capacity and efficiency while also allowing them the opportunity for future growth and expansion.

Our solution was to replace their existing phone system with a new hosted 3CX Phone System with Yealink 54W handsets.

The Results

SystemsUP Group successfully implemented the latest 3CX Phone System for Kincumber Dental Care, which is hosted on Amazon Web Server.  We also provided and installed Yealink 54W IP Phones throughout their Dental Practice.

A key requirement for Kincumber Dental Care was the ability to utilise the Click to Dial‘ feature through out their Practice Management System.  We were able to achieve this through the use of the 3CX Phone System, allowing use of this `Click to Dial‘ feature direct from their Practice Management System.

With 3CX now hosted in the Amazon Cloud, should Kincumber Dental Care lose power, or internet connection, the Practice Manager now has the capability to log into the 3CX  Mobile Phone App and continue taking calls for the Practice until the fault has been restored.
